Ministries
Choir
The Chicago Tabernacle Choir is a vital element to our Sunday Worship Services. The choir is a group of over fifty voices who come together for one purpose - to sing praise to the Lord and tell of His wonderful acts! This very diverse group of people, all of whom have experienced God's power in a unique way, unite to testify to that power as one body as they minister to God's people. Prior to every rehearsal, the choir lays a foundation of prayer for the ministry; their priority is not simply to sing to the best of their ability, but to sing powerful songs with voices that are anointed by God.
Early Childhood Ministry & CT's Playhouse

Our exciting children's programs are available every Sunday during our 9am and 11am worship services as well as during our Tuesday night prayer meeting.
If you have children from 0-5 years old, our gifted caretakers in the Early Childhood Ministry will engage your children in age-appropriate activities and games as they learn the Word of God through story and song.
If your child is in kindergarten through fifth grade, an exciting experience awaits them at Ct's Playhouse. Through live worship, dynamic teaching, and exciting dramas and activities, your child will be exposed to the living Word of God and how it applies to their lives.

Men's Ministry

Because God has called men to step into the role of leader in our families, church body, workplaces, and community, the Men's Ministry has been put in place to build up the men of the church. Proverbs 27:17 says, "as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." God has not called men to be lone rangers to change the world, but brothers, aiding the Father in changing each man, then family, then church, then community - and then the world.
Illuminate Women's Ministry
The illuminate women live life on purpose - intentionally seeking to imitate Christ moment by moment and teaching others to do the same. This is accomplished through service, fellowship, and discipleship.
Check out our Moms Group every Friday from 10am - 12pm.
Come for a time of connection, encouragement and inspiration with moms who are living life on purpose. For more information about the moms group email Susie Stephens at sstephens@chicagotabernacle.org.
Production
The Live Production Ministry serves the church body in all audio, lighting, and production aspects. This ministry serves behind the scenes for each service and event in order that the Word of God may be proclaimed with maximum impact.
Media

The Media Ministry creatively draws people to Christ through visually communicating the heart of God. Through creating print, design, and video material the media is used to impact the church in a powerful way.
Welcome
Welcome Team
The Welcome Team makes it a point to do everything they can to help newcomers and regular attenders feel welcome and loved. They also provide a place where newcomers can receive information about the church and find out how to get better connected to the church body.
Ushers
Psalm 84:10 says, "I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness." Ushers have the privilege of being the doorkeepers of the church and meeting and greeting the body of Christ as they enter into God's house. Although the Ushers are some of the most visible servants in the church, they also play a key role in many behind the scenes preparations for our weekly services.
Parking Team
The members of the Parking Team are the first people to have the opportunity to greet somebody as they attend the church. It is their hope and prayer that the same love of God felt during service is felt through the warm greeting of the parking attendants. They provide traffic control, shuttle service, and valet parking for mothers, the elderly and the handicapped.
Security Team
The goal of the Security Team is to simply be trained eyes and ears of the church in an effort to provide the congregation a safe and secure place to worship. They apply reasonable, basic security measures to keep all safe and to maximize the flow of ministry, undisturbed worship, and teaching that takes place at the Chicago Tabernacle.
Hospitality Team
The Hospitality Team brings joy to visitors and members by preparing and serving refreshments in the Welcome Center and throughout the church on Sunday mornings and for special events. Their desire is that people experience Jesus's tangible love through their service.

Outreach
Redeem Team
The Redeem Team ministers to nursing home residents and the disenfranchised throughout the Chicagoland area through weekly services and visitations. They bring the power of God through His Word and worship, and many are saved through these services. They also care for the nursing home residents by spending time with them and bringing snacks or items of clothing.
