Ever since the birth of the Chicago Tabernacle in 2002, we have sought to be a "House of Prayer for All Nations." We have built a foundation of prayer in our personal lives, which in turn extends itself to our corporate fellowship with God. It is upon that which we continually seek to grow in our everyday relationship with God, seeking fresh revelation each day. Our hope is that this will come to fruition here for each and every person, that they may be led to pray and unite with other members of the body of Christ in the spiritual realm. We consider it a great privilege and freedom to be able to bring our requests and petitions to our loving and faithful savior, Jesus Christ.
Join us for our Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting at 7p.m.
We view this as our most important meeting of the week. It is a special time in which the body of Christ unites in one fashion and corporately seeks the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon themselves and the world in knowing that once a spirit of unity prevails, such as when we pray in one accord, blessing from God is sure to follow. In bringing our requests in all different aspects of life to the Lord for provision, we acknowledge that no situation is too great or small for God to act upon.
Intercession Ministry, Fridays, 7p.m., 4209 N. Troy
Every Friday evening the members of the Intercession Ministry gather to worship the Lord through the sacrifice of prayer and praise. Specific prayers are offered each week for 30 days in response to the prayer request cards that members and visitors submit. In addition, this powerful time of prayer is dedicated to adoration and thanksgiving for the wonderful things God is doing in our midst. The Intercession Ministry also meets on Sunday mornings during the service to intercede on behalf of the message given from the word of God and those receiving it.
Prayer Requests and Praise Reports
If you have a prayer request, please submit it to us; we will pray for your request for thirty days at our prayer meetings, as will the Intercession Ministry. Prayer request cards are also available at the church office or at any of our weekly services.
We serve a great God who hears our prayers. If you have a praise report, please report it so that we may rejoice together!
