Choir
The Chicago Tabernacle Choir is a vital element to our Sunday Worship Services. The choir is a group of over fifty voices who come together for one purpose - to sing praise to the Lord and tell of His wonderful acts! This very diverse group of people, all of whom have experienced God's power in a unique way, unite to testify to that power as one body as they minister to God's people. Prior to every rehearsal, the choir lays a foundation of prayer for the ministry; their priority is not simply to sing to the best of their ability, but to sing powerful songs with voices that are anointed by God.
Production
The Production/Sound Ministry works hard behind the scenes to make our services flow seamlessly and ensures that the message of the gospel comes to the people unhindered by distraction or disruption.

Art
The Art Team is a place for artists to collaborate while collectively and individually expressing God's glory through the visual arts. Whether through art shows or painting sets for dramatic presentations, the artists worship God through creating.
Drama
The Drama Ministry exists to show God's love through powerful dramatic presentations. This ministry is active is producing large-scale dramas that are held each season as well as on a smaller scale during our weekly services. The devoted individuals involved with this ministry are committed to acting, writing, directing, and serving in backstage roles.

Youth
Transformed offers young people a chance to grow in God alongside other young people their own age by experiencing exciting times of worship and hearing life changing messages. This group of youth ages 12-19 encourages our next generation to submit to the Lord and take their stand in His kingdom by taking up active leadership roles in their local church, community, and schools, as well as spreading the Gospel through outreaches and missions trips.

Kinetic Men's Ministry
Because God has called men to step into the role of leader in our families, church body, workplaces, and community, the Men's Ministry has been put in place to build up the men of the church. Proverbs 27:17 says, "as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." God has not called men to be lone rangers to change the world, but brothers, aiding the Father in changing each man, then family, then church, then community - and then the world. It is the Father's way.
Illuminate Women's Ministry
The Illuminate women live life on purpose - intentionally seeking to imitate Christ moment by moment and teaching others to do the same. This is accomplished through service, fellowship, and discipleship.
Early Childhood Ministry & CT's Playhouse
At Chicago Tabernacle, it is our desire to provide excellent children's programs in a safe and secure environment where kids can learn about God's love and have a whole lot of fun along the way!

Welcome
The Welcome Ministry makes it a point to do everything they can to help newcomers and regular attenders feel welcome and loved. They also provide a place where newcomers can receive information about the church and help new members get connected to the body.

Ushers represent the church in a very visible way, and help set the tone in preparation for the worship service as well as assist with the smooth operation within the service.

Communion preparation and clean-up
Outreach
The outreach teams fulfill God's calling by reaching out to the lost in our community through sharing the gospel and offering prayer and encouragement. They also reach people in practical ways by providing clothing, food, and other necessities.

Redeem Team Nursing Home Ministry
The Redeem Team brings the gospel to people confined to nursing homes, who otherwise have little to no contact beyond the four walls of their building. By conducting services, talking one-on-one to patients, and preaching and distributing God's Word, the Redeem Team seeks to encourage believers and redeem the lost.
Appetite for Christ
Appetite for Christ reaches out to the homeless by serving hot meals and providing daily necessities. Providing for these physical needs opens the door for sharing the love and peace of Christ with those in great need.
